Born in Enid Oklahoma. Raised in Southern California. Oregon resident since 1974. Worked, and traveled before living on the mountain since 1980. Married with two sons who attended Mt. Hood Pre School, Welches School, Sandy High School, and Portland State University. I still love to travel, play golf, take care of my home and acre of gardens, with my husband, Dave, and yellow lab Farley, in Welches. I grew up in Portland attending David Douglas High School and am alum of Willamette University and the University of Montana. I spent many summers Visiting my grandparents who lived in a log home on the Sandy River, growing to love Mt. Hood. My wife Margaret and I moved to the mountain in 1977. Our son, David, is an avid fly fisherman and is a student at the University of Portland.
